Jun. 10, 2007 - Crusty Demons

Last night we went to see the Crusty Demons. What a COMPLETELY MAD show!!!! Bear at first didn't like the show, because the preshow entainment they chose people from the audience to get their bottoms smacked by the Crusty babes...poor Bear I think he thought thay may want to smack his bottom!!! he was right into it by the second half, just in time to see the most exterme stunts you could imagine.

I love the photos of Bear covering his eyes and Mitch covering his months....They had this guy called the Space Cowboy who did really weird and not-so wonderful things to his body. This morning Mitchell told us that the Space Cowboy was his favorite part of the show. Thats 9 year old boys for you.

I have to share this, its another photo of Leon on education day. Leon's school oeganized for the

"Life. Be in it" team to came to the school. Everyone had so much fun!!! we had these GIANT balls that we rolled around and this huge parachute that the kids climbed on so we could tossed them in the air!

Leon had his turn, but I don't think he enjoyed it to much. Now I have to say..I thought tossing Leon was a good effort on our part, his last weigh in was 11O kg. But then we gave Big George a turn. Big George would have to weight at less 60 kg more than Leon!!! But we did it... with some extra helpers, and boy did we feel like "the worlds greatest" after tossing George.LOL

May. 24, 2007 - "The Worlds Greatest"

Yesterday, John and I when to Leon's new school for Education week. Leon is still going to Halinda school but over the holidays they moved over to their brand new school buildings, its about 5 mins up the road from their old school

The senior school sung and signed this amazing song "The Worlds Greatest" for us. It was really powerful to watch and of course I cried. Here are the words for the song and hopefully you can also hear the song playing.

The World's Greatest lyrics

I am a mountain
I am a tall tree
Ohhh, I am a swift wind
Sweepin' the country
I am a river
Down in the valley
Ohhh, I am a vision
And I can see clearly
If anybody asks u who I am
Just stand up tall look 'em in the Face and say

[Chorus]
I'm that star up in the sky
I'm that mountain peak up high
Hey, I made it
I'm the worlds greatest
And I'm that little bit of hope
When my backs against the ropes
I can feel it mmm
I'm the worlds greatest

I am a giant
I am an eagle
I am a lion
Down in the jungle
I am a marchin' band
I am the people
I am a helpin' hand
And I am a hero
If anybody asks u who I am
Just stand up tall look 'em in the Face and say

[Chorus]

In the ring of life I'll reign love
And the world will notice a king
When all is darkest, I'll shine a light
And use a success you'll find in me

[Chorusx2]

I saw the light
At the end of a tunnel
Believe in the pot of gold
At the end of the rainbow
And faith was right there
To pull me through, yeah
Used to be locked doors
Now I can just walk on through
Hey, uh, hey, hey, hey
It's the greatest
I'm that star up in the sky

[Chorus]

This photo is of Leon and his teacher Mr Clarke. Leon has been in Mr Clarkes class for the last 3 years. This will be Leon last year with him because Mr Clarke will be retiring  : (at the end of the year.We feel completely blessed to have had Mr Clarke as part of Leon life. He has worked so hard with Leon. Leon now going to workshop programmes 3 times a week, and if things keep going the way they have been Leon will probably be offered job when he leave school.

Heres is the page I did  for week 3 of the EF challenge. Are you wondering what happened to week 2......I didn't do it, we had alot of houseguests that week and I just couldn't squeeze it in. Thank heavens the last of our houseguest left today after 24 days.

Anyway back to the page, I love how it turned out. I thought the photos were great even when I blew it up. Can you see Hugh standing on the piano? Poor John says he will never look Wolverine the same again ! It was a great show and a great night!
